I PITCH BLACK FORECAST (prima conosciuti come ABSENTEE), nuovo progetto con il cantante Jason "J" Popson (MUSHROOMHEAD, IN COLD BLOOD, Fractured Transmitter Records), il batterista Gene Hoglan (STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, DEATH, DARK ANGEL, TESTAMENT), il chitarrista Robert Reinard (NDE) e il bassista Craig Martini, hanno dichiarato che il loro primo album "Absentee" (Fractured Transmitter) uscirà il 20 maggio.
"Absentee" vedrà la partecipazione di ospiti illustri quali Randall Blythe (LAMB OF GOD) e Human Furnace (RINGWORM).
